About Me

I'm Maureen Milazzo, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), trauma recovery, and integrative mental health. In my private practice, I offer compassionate, one-on-one support for individuals and groups navigating anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, life transitions, and psychedelic integration.

My approach to therapy is rooted in deep presence, curiosity, and a belief in your innate capacity to heal. I create a grounded, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your inner world at your own pace—gently uncovering patterns, processing pain, and building new pathways toward resilience and meaning.

I specialize in  providing both individual and group Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, pairing ketamine dosing provided by a medical provider with ongoing therapeutic support to facilitate deep emotional healing and nervous system regulation. KAP is a clinically supported, transformative approach to mental health that can help unlock stuck places and catalyze lasting change.

My work draws from a diverse and holistic toolkit, including parts work, somatic processing, mindfulness, breathwork, tapping techniques, and the healing power of nature. I also integrate principles from social justice, neuroscience, and trauma-informed care—honoring the full complexity of your story and the systems that shape it.

Professional Background

I earned my Master’s in Social Work in 2014 and began my career in program development, administration, and evaluation. In 2016, I achieved my LMSW and spent four years working in an inpatient hospital setting, gaining direct experience supporting individuals through acute mental health challenges. After earning my LCSW in 2020, I transitioned into private practice, where I’ve continued to provide psychotherapy and clinical supervision.

For the past five years, I served as Director of the Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy program at a local therapy practice as well as provided Clinical supervision, individual and group therapy In these roles, I helped develop clinical protocols and procedures, led the design and implementation of KAP training both locally and nationally through PESI Inc., and provided clinical supervision to therapists working with psychedelic-assisted approaches and other traditional psychotherapy modalities . This leadership role deepened my clinical expertise and affirmed my passion for advancing safe, ethical, and effective therapy practices. In addition I provided over 500 individual and group KAP sessions.

Throughout my career, I’ve also designed, evaluated and enhanced a variety of community and mental health programs, supervised associate therapists and graduate students, and provided individualized care across a range of clinical contexts. These diverse experiences inform the grounded, integrative approach I bring to every client and supervisee relationship.

Beyond the
Therapy Room

I’m passionate about social justice, intersectionality, sustainable living, earth based medicine, and feminist-informed care. I’ve completed Part A of the MAPS MDMA Therapy Training Program and regularly engage in education and training in the fields of psychedelic-assisted therapy and integrative mental health.

Working with me feels calm, collaborative, and empowering. Whether you’re just beginning your healing journey or deepening work you've already started, I’m here to support you in reconnecting with your inner wisdom and creating a life that feels meaningful, intentional, and whole.
